THE VINEYARD
Geraldo’s Vineyard is located in the Transmontano region of Portugal. This small vineyard has been farmed for several generations of Mr.Geraldo’s family. The soil is mostly schist, granite and clay, on a very steep incline with terrific sun exposure. The vineyard is made of of a mixture of local grape varieties with some vines as old as 70 years. It is dry farmed with very little intervention by Mr.Geraldo. 350 bottles produced. This wine is unfined and unfiltered so it will develop natural sediment in the bottle.
