THE VINEYARD
Morgado’s Vineyard is located in the Transmontano region of Portugal. This small vineyard has been farmed for several years by Mr.Rogérios. The soil is mostly gravelly sand and with a bit of decomposed granite. On a fairly flat piece of land, the vineyard is planted with a mixture of local grape varieties with vines varying widely in age. It is dry farmed with very little intervention by Mr.Rogério. 760 bottles produced. This wine is unfined and unfiltered so it will develop natural sediment in the bottle.
