SUMMARY

100% Pinot Noir grapes machine harvested in late September. Fermented in stainless steel tank with total maceration of only 10 days. Aging in old French oak barrels for 8 months. Natural malolactic fermentation and no cold stabilization. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in June of 2011. 100 cases produced.

PRODUCTION NOTES
The 2010 growing season was one of the greatest in many years. Below average rainfall and above average temperatures resulted in optimal grape maturity. Yield was just short of 3 tons per acre. Grapes were machine harvested and then cold soaked in stainless steel tank for three days. Fermentation was completed in seven days at an average temperature of 72F. The wine was then aged in old French oak barrels for eight months. Natural malolactic fermentation in barrel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in June of 2011. 100 cases produced.
