2008 VIDAL BLANC
From the Urban Grape Blog: TJ is not the type of guy to bring in a wine because of a trend or out of a sense of obligation. So even though the local wine scene is gaining in popularity, he wanted to wait until he found the best of the best. One sip of Travessia's wines at the Wine Riot and he knew he had found it. All of Travessia's wines are amazing, but the Vidal Blanc is his favorite. And our customers favorite too. We can't keep this bottle in stock!
TJ Douglas, co-owner of The Urban Grape, Chestnut Hill, MA

2007 UNOAKED CHARDONNAY
“Dinner – Take out sushi from Turks in Mattapoisett. Wine – Travessia’s UnOaked Chardonnay. Result – Unbelievable combination. Thank you and good job.”
Nuno Capataz, New Bedford, MA

2007 CHARDONNAY
“I served the Chardonnay to friends last night and it was a hit. I also got to share your story.”
Judy Anthony, Jamaica Plain, MA

2007 VIDAL BLANC
“I’m no wine connoisseur but your Vidal Blanc reminds me of some of my favorite Rieslings. We had it at a Thai restaurant which is BYOB only, but I can see myself drinking a glass (or two) by the pool side. And it’s made in Massachusetts! Good stuff."
Jennifer Bennett, New Bedford, MA

2007 SWEET VIDAL BLANC
“Personally I was surprised to find a maturity to this very young wine - it was its density and elegant sweet palette that made it so. I like to enjoy a nice 20 Year Madeira or Muscatel Roxo once in awhile and this wine felt a bit of this type of maturity. Definitely one I will keep on the shelf!”
Tino Fidalgo, Acushnet, MA

“I wanted to let you know the sweet vidal blanc was a big hit over Christmas..... I did learn a lesson though… I'm going to have to buy by the case because three bottles just aren't enough when you're sharing with WHINOS' ...”
Catarina Francisco, New Bedford, MA

“We had the sweet vidal blanc last night at Margaret's with another couple and everyone was very impressed. It was really good and amazing with our deserts”
Flavio Biscaia, New Bedford, MA

2007 ROSE'

"Good job on the new Rose'.  I liked the nose, which seemed to have the subtle spice notes that come from oak aging in old world-style reds.  I think it’s my favorite after the unoaked chardonnay and I plan to pick up a bottle next time I visit – it should be great with spicy food!"
Benjamin Rivard-Rapoza, Fall River, MA.
