Pinot Noir Rose'
SUMMARY
100% Pinot Noir grapes harvested in late September. Skins were left in contact with the juice for a few hours. After pressing, the juice was fermented in stainless steel tank. Medium-Dry with a crisp refreshing finish. No malolactic fermentation and no oak barrel aging. Filtered and bottled March 2013. 220 cases produced.

PRODUCTION
NOTES
The 2012 growing season was fairly warm and dry throughout with exception of the month of September when early rains impacted harvest picking decisions.
The grapes were picked, crushed and pressed the same day. The juice was fermented entirely in stainless steel tank. Fermentation was completed in 3 weeks at an average temperature of 60F. Wine was settled in tank for 3 months before bentonite fining to accomplish moderate heat stability. No malolactic fermentation and no oak barrel aging. Filtered and bottled March 2012. Released in March 2012. 220 cases produced.
