PRODUCTION
NOTES
The 2013 growing season was fairly warm with average rainfall through September. October, harvest month, brought extremely favorable conditions with less than 2 inches of rain which was about 20% of the average rainfall for the month. As a result, grapes achieved perfect ripening levels.
The grapes were fermented entirely in stainless steel tank. Fermentation was completed in 10 days at an average temperature of 78F. Wine was then transferred to old French oak barrels for 8 months during which it completed malolactic fermentation. Slight fining with egg-white. Bottled July 2014. Released in September 2013. 110 cases produced.
