PRODUCTION
NOTES
The 2013 growing season was fairly warm with average rainfall through September. October, harvest month, brought extremely favorable conditions with less than 2 inches of rain which was about 20% of the average rainfall for the month. As a result, grapes achieved perfect ripening levels.
The juice was fermented entirely in stainless steel tank. Fermentation was completed in 3 weeks at an average temperature of 58F. The wine was fined with bentonite and not aged in any oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation was prevented by temperature control. Released in April 2013. 340 cases produced.
